If Disney doesn't course correct, I'll silently bow out and spend my money on "minty" classic Mego Marvels, which I already have about half of the ones I'd want. I'll continue to support Mego on other releases, I'm just not going to satiate Disney's power trip at the expense of my time & frustration. The'yre just toys, and aren't worth the hassle & disappointment (mine or those around me). Just comparing Mego to Mego experiences, many DC 50th 1st & 2nd wave figures can still be found via online distributors for original retail prices, and even some at discounted rates...two years later. Same can be said for many of the Topps exclusive figures. Two minutes after Wave 1 Marvel figures were released the only options available (so far) are to pay scalper prices, pay personal shoppers to locate them for you, or drive to a Disney Park to get them yourself. For me personally, that is a deal breaking strategy.

This is the first Mego release that I don't feel like celebrating and seemingly can't express frustration about either.

I'm not mitigating frustration here--it's Crap how toys are sold now--but Diz was no different than what I've dealt with for years with the bloated fiasco that is MOTU Origins. But I love that line and persevere. And I love (at least some ) Mego Corp and am so far willing to persevere with them, too.

I've been pretty with some of the DC 50th releases, but Electro gave my interest and resolve a boost. That resolve will wane quickly if the remaining seven new figures tie into the MCU and not Bronze-Age "Mego goodness."

It's disappointing how this whole Marvel thing turned out, but I'm not blaming Mego (only Marvel/Disney) and still glad for my fellow collectors who actually got ahold of Spidey, Electro and Co. Same for me. I'm burned out by toy scalpers in general, but this Mego Disney debacle was something else. As for upcoming waves, sure, I would like a Hulk, but he would have to be paired with three of the coolest figures ever for me to go through that experience again.

I was thrilled when I made my presale purchase, but that thrill quickly subsided once the news started trickling in that many fans were getting their orders cancelled, one after the other.

The disappointment of my Mego Brothers and Sisters left me feeling awful about the situation and I wasn't able to enjoy and celebrate my purchase once the shipping notification came. Then, my package delivery stalled for a week and a half in Pennsylvania, and I thought for sure that it was "gone for good". It finally showed up a few days ago, and I still haven't even opened up the box yet. I'll be opening it this weekend because 1 set is a gift for my cousin who's birthday is coming up. I intended to get myself a second set to open up once they hit Disney Stores, but it doesn't look like that will even happen. My "thrill" about the Marvel license has greatly diminished, maybe we'll hear from the Powers That Be that more sets of the first wave are coming, and perhaps then my interest will reawaken and I will consider an additional wave. But as it stands now, I'm not going to put myself through this again.

Disney is trying to make us go to the parks to get these and I have'nt been to Disneyland in 44 years. Electro is really cool with a perfect head sculpt and

I reckon the next set will be Cap, Hulk, Iron Man & Dr Doom as the ‘new’ one. They made a big deal about introducing RDJ as Dr Doom. Doom was always the Big Bad for Marvel back in the day. It’s a good way to have him established prior to the FF set, which I believe will be the four of them together.

I was wondering about a split set for FF, as well. The reason being that I am not sure where we are in terms of the different bodies for figures. Does anyone know if there is an issue or delay with female bodies being produced? The reason I wonder is the Super Gals seem to be long overdue and if it's an issue of female body availability, that seems to me that it would delay a Sue Storm figure. And that leads me to wonder if a Hulk/Thing body has been developed for production. Does anyone know where we are with different body types going into production? I try to keep up with the developments, but info seems to be hard for me to find and I'm not sure if that's because I am missing announcements or if there haven't been any updates.

I was thinking one per quarter, which should put it sometime in March. However Paul said April in the video with Marth posted not too long ago.

I was thinking a Captain America: Brave New World-themed wave. Maybe a reissue of Cap, Falcon and Hulk and a new figure of The Leader? Or maybe a Red Hulk? The movie drops in mid-February, but I'm not sure when the next Marvel set is due to be released.

I can't see the FF coming until wave 3, sometime June/July about the time the movie is coming out. If I had to guess the next wave is Iron Man, Cap,, Hulk and a new one. Hulk, Cap and IM were shown on the boxes on the this first set. I think they tipped their hand knowingly. I also think the FF will be sold as a set of 4, to help promote the film. Disney is clearly setting the tone here and they're masters at marketing.

Disney sells a lot of Avengers items and I don't see any Fantastic 4 stuff . Disney Avengers items include Dr. Strange, Black Panther, Capt . Marvel along with the rest. Spidey already had 3 villans in set so Venom , Loki, Dr Doom , Sabbretooth, and Magneto are my only wish.

Perhaps they tipped their hand at the next wave by including the Avengers on the Electro box?
