Paul Clarke posted the Thing body side by side with the original on FB. It looks to be about the same height, but with wrist and waist articulation.

Thing has wrist articulation. I wonder if he is a bandless body. He stands better than the original, too. The Torch's head doesn't match his costume very well. I hope I can eventually get a set.

If there are only four thousand sets, how can they be on backorder? Did they only sell them online this time? My daughter lives in California and I was hoping she could go to the Disney store and get me a set. Is anyone planning on going to the park store and seeing if they have them in stock today?

Btw…was able to get a set. When I logged in I was at about 650 in the queue, but it only took a few minutes to move up and get to the order page. Used Apple Pay and it was quick.
My email also says back ordered till Aug 11th and expected delivery Aug 15th. Hopefully won’t get a cancelled email in the next few days!

had problems with pmt also. Made me log back on midway pmt and then made me enter 3 times my CC sec code before pmt.

Yes, same thing with me.
And no warning or advance notice that there would only be a limit of one per customer/account, with no way to get a second set for a family member who is working and unable to order it themselves.
