I was wondering the same thing.

They’re delighting in keeping us guessing until the last moment!

I see they did re-brand Sue as Invisible WOMAN.
I’m sure that was mandatory, and she has been referred to that way for nearly 40 years (since FF #284). It is kinda silly that she was GIRL as long as she was; after all, Peter Parker was always Spider-MAN, even though he was a boy when that radioactive spider bit him.

It's confusing--but I'm pretty sure the loose set promoted by Disney as "Coming Soon" are production figures.

I don’t know, to be honest.

The first pic I saw was of the four loose figures.

Then I saw the one here on the MEGO Museum site, followed by the one I posted from the Masterworks board.

    Hey gang,

I hope that everyone has a fantastic day tomorrow.

Here’s something kinda funny that I noticed.

Someone posted on the Marvel Masterworks board a photo of the FF set. However, the design on the Thing’s torso is different than the pic used here on the MEGO Museum.

I wouldn't get your hopes up. If Mego had word that things were going to be run differently, I would suspect they would have gotten out front of this and shared that. I'm expecting the exact same outcome myself. If I don't get it, I can live with it. If these companies and retailers don't want my money, I'll spend it elsewhere.

If they’re only releasing them online that may mean Disney has enough online to meet demand. They had some left over in the parks and the online was a debacle.

making plenty and filling demand online cuts out resellers, eliminates product sitting on shelves.

but that’s giving Disney too much credit I think

It's one of the worst examples, but obtaining action figures has gotten extremely difficult and mind-numbingly frustrating accross the board.
Absolutely. And it doesn't matter who says anything, this is bad business, insulting. Why show actual production figures on the Disney site and then yank them?

Bear in mind, when the first set was announced, it was actually solicited weeks later and appeared in the parks first.

I’d almost be willing to bet the secrecy part had a lot to do with an NDA. Disney and Hasbro are more than likely behind the silence. Paul soon FB that once a time limit is up maybe he can speak to this.
last time he announced it the day before they started popping up at the Disney locations. Maybe Monday/Tuesday we’ll hear and/or he can say something
