I would hope that they learned from the Spidey wave debacle. I read of so many cancelled orders from Disney, it was very odd. Not to mention horribly frustrating for people who had placed their orders, only to be contacted later with a cancellation notice. Such unabashed knavery.

And Chris, much as I respect you, the Byrne idea is terrible. That's not Mego, and bad enough that it was applied to the "retro-Kenner" FF.

Looks like the Thing has a poseable waist? Yowza.
    Well okay then.

Unfortunate timing for this Mego fan.

Bad enough that it's a Wednesday morning, but the 9th falls right dead smack dab on our monthly preliminary analysis day, which is business day 6. There will be no opportunity for me to be able to break free and play "the disney roulette". It looks like my interest in this line is dimming out quickly. I refuse to reward ebay scalpers. I have no interest in ever visiting disneyland again (way too expensive, especially considering the modern crowd size, which just sucks the joy out of the entire experience).

I'll just focus on completing my original Mego Marvel line, and upgrade a few of my less than perfect originals. At that point, I think I'll have enough Mego figures to keep me satisfied well into my retirement years. It's been a fun ride since 2017, but with the lack of interesting new lines of late and the recent "disney taint", I'm not having fun anymore.

Wishing you all the best, Cheers!!

Wondering how the articulation on the female and muscle bodies will be? from the picture the Thing looks pretty flexible.

Not to take the focus away from this set, but seeing Sue as part of the set gives me hope that 50th Anniversary editions of the Super Gals are still on the way.

From what I can gather from the comments on social media, nobody knows if these will be available in the parks. Only online that I can find out as of now. I am hoping that IF that is the case there is enough to go around and orders don't get cancelled. I can't think of any bigger disaster for this release if they don't have them in the parks AND orders gets cancelled or not placed at all due to not enough supply on hand.

That wouldn't go over well at all. It'd turn alot of people off.

That’s a great surprise (for me at least)! So much for my deductive reasoning based on the Spidey set box art. . I was expecting the Avengers, but I’m glad the FF got the nod.

I hope they stitched the belts onto the bodysuits. The loose belts bothered me when I was a kid.

Yep I see them now in the coming soon. Wonder when they'll hit the shelf in the parks?

Not to be THAT guy grumbling, but I wish they'd put them in the Byrne white/dark blue outfits for Reed and Sue just to mix things up, or maybe include them as alternate costumes.

Either way, it will be a nice set to have, since my Reed is still a bit zombified, and I've never bothered to replace him.
