DC is celebrating the 40th Anniversary of Super Powers with some variant covers showcasing figures that never were, but hopefully may be someday! With desgins by Jason (Toy Otter) Geyer and art by Alex Saviuk, who did some of the art on the original SP line packaging. Found this nice poster that showcases most of the Super Powers figures that came out and some that were planned.

I've only seen the Aquaman Wave in one store and there happened to be one Black Manta on the back of the peg. Of course, they are reportedly making a new, black Black Manta, so I wish I found the Reverse Flash instead. I never saw that wave at Walmart.

By the time this wave was clearanced, it was just a few left and I grabbed an extra Batman,

Our Walmarts never even got the Aquaman at full price, let along at Clearance prices.

The Amazon Black Batman box set is a nice offering ,but I think I'll pass. I already have the black Batman, and space is at a premium for repaints. Plus, more money for other stuff.

My Walmart only puts out one box at a time.

My Walmart got the newest wave in, but now all they have left was 4 of the Batman Manga figure. All the other characters were sold out. Either Walmart went from carrying way too much to too little, or they've got extra stock in back.

Bad sign at my Walmart. I don't think they have a space for Super Powers anymore in their new reset. The figures and vehicles were HEAVILY clearanced here, so it doesn't surprised me.
