McFarlane doing Super Powers?

I don't have Lobo in hand, but yeah, he looks like he's semi-based on the DCAU animated design from STAS and Justice League, and he's way too tall. Based on discussions I've seen on SP Facebook groups, I don't think anyone is too happy with how Lobo turned out. He's a nice enough looking figure...but not for this line.

I already order one Lobo and it will stay in its package. I am going to order one of these two off of Etsy and paint them. Lobo is only 6 foot 4 inches tall. He and Superman fight all the time so why make him that huge?

Somebody got the figures in early, so at least we get to see the final product. I have to agree, not happy with how Lobo turned out.

Update on the crowd funded Bat and Manta vehicles they will ship this week.

learned late they were up for pre order so snagged what I wanted before they sold out.And thanks for the heads up the 6 pack went up for sale again.I don’t know why Todd gives us an advance notice when the 7 inch figures go up but not for SP.

We will see those heads again. I expect to see Bruce Wayne and long hair Superman later this year.

I didn't realize EE had the Superman and Batman available at one point. By the time I got there, the 6 figure set was gone. My order from GameStop has apparently already been processed too, so even if I do see the set again, I probably won't bite.

Keeping up with these action figure releases has really become a chore. I wish the action figure sites and companies did a better job at actually telling us when and where we could order stuff. If Superman and Batman were initally EE exclusives, that should have been common knowledge.

Thanks for the heads up, I didn't realize theyw ere going up today. Missed them on BBTS, but GameStop still had them. Man, these things sell out within hours these days!

Entertainment Earth has its set back up for pre-order. I would love to get that unmasked Batman, but since my set from MTS is shipping, I will hold out hope that it shows up in stores or via MTS EQL.

I was away today so I missed the big package, but was able to "hopefully" place my order for one Robin one Lobo, two Flash, at two Atom.

I hope I get 2 JSA The Flash so I can do his arch-Enemy Rival.

I will start to check GameStop in Feb for the Batman/Superman, I can usually find them there.

Entertainment Earth has a case that includes an unmasked Batman and a "Return of Superman" Superman. I didn't know they had that assortment (Sold Out now) and I had already ordered a set from MTS. For some reason, MTS shipping for these was limited and more expensive than the three Collector Edition figures I purchased yesterday, but they are already set to ship. The label was made, so I assume they will ship out by Monday.

I consider myself lucky I got the JSA 3 pack from EE. I haven’t seen that set at retail anywhere even GameStop where I get the best shot at finding stuff. I fear it will be scarce as Hal out there. And I believe Todd will continue with JSA in super powers. Wildcat, Dr Midnight, Dr. Fate and Spectre I will bet on, maybe even golden age Mr. Terrific since the modern hero will be in the Superman film. EDIT the jsa 3 pack is up again now at amazon.
