McFarlane doing Super Powers?

Cool to see Booster confirmed, even though we all expected it based on the pictures on the Bug Box. I could do with more new characters and less Batman and Superman repaints/variants, but those figures sell and anchor waves, so I'll live with them.

I appreciate your post mixing the vintage and new SP figures, they coordinate well.

NIce also to see the new wave--just Booster and Black Manta for me.

Disco Nightwing is a good variant idea but seems a longshot. The torso might serve for Deadman, though.

I was hoping Fleischer Superman would at least get a new, Shuster-esque head. But not surprised. I am stoked for Booster and Guy. The Booster body could probably be used by McFarlane to make a classic Nightwing.

My wife emailed me to let me know my shipment from McFarlane FINALLY arrived. I was a bit worried, as the exclusive Panic in the Sky Brainiac and ship set are going for insane amounts on ebay right now.

My wife is on vacation this week and we took a ride out to visit the in-laws this afternoon, about an hour away. There's one Walmart on the way and another, plus a Game Stop, in the town they live. We stopped at all 3. No luck at the first Walmart. At the Game Stop I found a Knightfall Robin and Yellow Sinestro. At the Walmart in their town, I found a Kilowog and they had a bunch of the Batwing vehicle on clearance for $5, so I picked up one (I had one already, but couldn't pass one for $5). I saw plenty of Beetles, Braniacs and Manga Batman at both Walmarts, but no luck finding a Bug ship. The clerk at Game Stop mentioned he saw one at the Game Stop branch like 40 minutes past where my in-laws lived, but we weren't driving out there to get it.

My Gamestop must have sold out of the SInestro Yellow figure that i wanted, because all they had left was a couple of Batman Mangas and 1 Braniac. But that's ok, because i found an Ebay seller that is selling most of the current wave for $9.95 each plus a few older characters for $8.49, plus shipping. Ordered 2 Sinestro Yellow and 2 Nightwing Knightfall. Think those are pretty good prices, even with the shipping,, which is discounted for multiple figures, so here's a link to that seller's Super Powers figures in case anyone can't find what they're looking for in stores:

Cyborg and Riddler are two figures that McFarlane definitely needs to release!

Has anyone see Sinestro (the yellow version) at Walmart? I know some have seem him at Gamestop. but i wasn't sure about Walmart.

th (22).jpg I was lucky in that my first SDCC in the 90's there was a dealer who had loose South American Super Powers and I picked up Cyborg & Riddler for around $100. There is a slight difference in the shinny parts but I at least have one packed away.

Yeah, we need more Titans, and a McFarlane verison of Cyborg for those of us who never got one and can't afford him now.

What I am reminded of, are the prototypes of the Teen Titans that I would have loved to have in my collection back in the 80's.
