Finally got the notifications on mine. It seems I need to get busy and create my Slaughter Swamp/Parliament of the Trees shelf so I can put the Bat Mulitcraft to some use.

Received an e-mail from MTS today saying that my Sea Saucer, Bat Multicraft and 4 figures (Batman, Robin, Aquaman & Black Manta) had shipped. Anyone know if these are going to be available to purchase elsewhere for those who didn't do the original Drawing Board/Crowdfunding option?

The scale of Lobo just kills it for me.

I’m sure they will use the long hair supe head again on a main suit figure and hope they use the Lobo base body for a Solomon Grundy.

I now have the main 4 figures from the wave now, but since I wasn't aware of the chase figures being available when they were, I'm still on the hunt for unmasked Batman and Recovery Suit Superman.

Funny SP package is due in on Feb 14. Not gonna lie, I as soon as that package comes in I would be taken pics.

Problem will have my nephew for a long weekend, so we are all going to the movies.

Yeah, the cowl behind would have been nice. Some folks over on the Kenner Super Powers Facebook group are making custom versions.

The Man-Bat story is a classic! Definitely recommend it, and any Batman book drawn by Neal Adams from this period.

It was really common in the Bronze Age. This is from Detective #400, the first Man-Bat story, with art by Neal Adams and Dick Giordano.

They pulled an image from the DC Style Guide for the card art, and you even see him like this in the Super Powers Team: Galactic Guardians episode "The Fear". So there's definitely a precedent for it.

I can appreciate that Mcfarlane is trying to release comic book accurate Batman figures instead of all those weird version Mattel did.

But there are plenty of scenes when Bruce was working in the Batcave without his cape and cowl so why not.

I don't have one in hand yet, but a lot of people don't seem to like it. From here, I can see the resemblance to the original Super Powers Batman, with that jutting square jaw. I think the beady black eyes are kind of throwing it off a bit.
