    From twitter/x @BeyondUbernerd

This is 3 Batcaves: Batman '89 , Batman '66, 3-in-1 bottom base Batcave holding the Batwing.

I like this idea and have all three of these batcaves. I also have other Batman playsets that my nephew has outgrown that I am going to start to figure out how to use on a new shelf. Since McFarlane love releasing Batman Family & vehicles I may as well make room for them.

Just letting you know, the Brainac Skull Ship is showing up on shelves now. PXL_20240207_170358264.jpg

I found two of them in Houston and picked them up. I also cancelled my pre-order when I got home. Two is more than enough.

I wish I knew what box my original Super Powers Brainac was in but somebody over at Twitter/X posted one:

    This looks so good!!!

I have everything that has been released except The Batman Who Laughs, Justice Lord Superman, Zur-En-Arrh Batman, Gold Flash, Gold Batman, and Reverse Flash (only because I cannot find him). A few I have, like Flashpoint Batman and New 52 Superman, came in MTS bundles because it was cheaper that way, but I have no idea what to do with them.

As I re-do displays, I need to make a dedicated on to McFarlane Super Powers. I've only opened the Batwing, Supermobile, and first release Batman and Superman (I had to put someone in those rides!), and they are just hanging out in no man's land right now.

Orange -- I have (most I have duplicates of to make Bizarro versions)
Black -- Do not have the desire to add them to my collection.

    Supoer Powers Checklist w7b.jpg

Got in the The Flash v2 & Batman 89.

The Flash reminds me of those issues after COIE where Wally wore his Flash costume, but it was a darker shade of red.

Batman '89 was part of my early adulthood. Spent more money than I should have on Batman merchandise, and to be truthful I have no idea where it all is.

That’s a good point. I had forgotten how different the two designs are.

Yeah, but the old design was pretty primitive, with it's large scallopped fin. I still love it, though. This new design, as far as I know, debuted in Batman 312.

The Whirly-Bat goes back to at least the late 1950s, and was prominent in a number of Golden Age adventures. That’s great artwork by Simonson, though.

It's a great toy! That Whirly-Bat design was also used in the comics. Since Dick Giordano designed the similar 78/80s Batmobile that was the inspiration for the Super Powers car (and also seen in the Super Friends beginning with Challenge), he may have designed this Whirly Bat. Or, it could have been Walt Simonson, who drew the issue it debuted in (as far as I know) Batman 312 (inked by Giordano).

I need to get at least one more for Robin or Nightwing to ride.

I am thinking about getting another one to repaint in black to add to the Batman '89 collection.

Got in my Whirly-Bat. This was another Kenner Super Powers that was on the planning board but didn't get made.

This version was based on the Super Friends cartoon episodes:

You do have to assemble it but it was easy to do.

Been avoiding the post-90s figures, and most of the repaints, but may still want to pick up a few of those. I still need Hal and blue Sinestro. Ordered the new characters and vehciles from this latest wave.

    My checklist so far:
Orange -- I have (most I have duplicates of to make Bizarro versions)
Black -- Do not have the desire to add them to my collection.

I have not found Batman '89 or Nightwing 90's outfit but thinking about adding them.

I have yet to see Black Manta or Reverse Flash at Walmart down here.

I hope Yellow Lantern Sinestro is going to show up at Walmart, I really want to make the Lantern Corps again.

I bought the MTS Bundle so I can get the exclusive "Panic In The Sky" Brainiac Ship and Sinestro Corps Sinestro. I think that's the only way to get Sinestro. And that bundle is already Sold Out.

I really like these, which is funny, because I wasn't a huge fan of Super Powers in the 80s. I had the initial ones, the Super Mobile and that fantastic Batmobile, but I was aging out of toys and those little action figures didn't match up to my big Mego figures as a kid. But these are fun and feel like toys, even if they are being sold more and more like collectibles. I just need to find a Reverse Flash. I got lucky and found a Black Manta a few weeks back.
