So, these Disney-Marvel figures...

Speaking of Hulk, Mego needs to exploit the revised muscle-body tooling: Do Rhino in gray, or use the Thing mold in olive-green for Abomination. Hulk smash puny enemy! -
I'm glad Disney made it easy; some vendors don't. That was a shame about Hulk's neck.Leave a comment:

Thank you.
The return process was pretty painless, if anyone needs to. I hope you don't!Leave a comment:

Many, many thanks for the pics. I was debating about this set, since it is still available
. I guess the Ironman sorta killed it for me: Even as a kid I hated it when the inseam is short. It looks like all of the Ironman suffers from it. The original had the inseam right up to the crotch.

I like and appreciate the time and work put into theses sets, the colors are really nice. Since I had the originals as a kid these were a must but to some
collectors the paint spot and hulks size are a issue. I do wan't Falcon but am really going to have to see what's next before I order more . The quality
control dropped from set 2 to set 3 (Thing was an upgrade ).I would buy a better Hulk, and Ironman with Black Panther, and Falcon in a future set
and only wan't Dr.Doom and Magneto for villans . X-men 97 would also get my money with Daredevil and Dr.StrangeLeave a comment:

Thanks for the pics. I really like the fact that the new Iron Man is not a light orange.
Here’s a compare with Iron Man and Cap…

Its like the vintage figures got a thorough cleaning and polish. I love these.
Cant wait till my sets arrive but also afraid of the potential damage they might have.Leave a comment:

Here’s a compare with Iron Man and Cap…MIB41, thanks for the comparison pix--I think it's good to be reminded just how nicely these turned out. Yes, Mego Corp. has always struggled with its repro stickers/emblems. But thankfully, many hacks exist.
My partner commented that Cap looks stoned. I said, "Yes. he's always looked like that. He's self-medicated because his costume is so 'off'."

Yeah, i don’t think you can return it. Unless it arrived damaged. Apparently it’s a special order, and not subject to returns.Well, this was a bust.
Iron Man glue dot is across the board. You can't tell from the picture, but Captain America's star is lifting off his chest. My Hulk, the only one I've opened, was garotted by the plastic, creating a gap. His head can go flush, like my money in this purchase, but it is loose.
Will probably return.
now I have to see what I can do about my second set, that I didn’t want to order.
goodluck thoughLeave a comment:

You’re very welcome. It just seem like a quick fix that allows you to keep everything stock on the figure while eliminating the problem. I really love having a brand new Ironman figure that has everything my childhood figure has plus popping with color, (something my old one is losing).
Feel the same way with Thor too. And Hulk is just off the chain better. Pictures can’t tell you what you’ll notice when you take him out of the box. He’s got some serious heft to him. The reason why (per Paul)is because that body is not a blow mold like the original. It’s solid through and through. Honestly? It makes the original feel like a cheap knockoff now. Never thought I could say that.
Cap is great too. Shield looks authentic and he’s just built solid. It’s my favorite set to date and I didn’t think I would say that again after last year’s FF collection.

Thanks for posting this here!Thats not a stain. It’s actually where the glue soaked through the stock emblem and eroded the yellow leaving a translucent surface that allows you to see the red plastic behind it. I peeled back the decal with some tweezers and turned it over to assess the size of the spot.
From there, I cut to size a portion of a fluorescent yellow label I had on hand and covered that spot with the yellow side facing down. Adhesive side of that piece will help hold the stock decal on the plastic after you reapply. Once placed back on, just gently rub the area and the fluorescent yellow comes through eliminating the eye sore. IMG_6580.png IMG_6578.jpg IMG_6577.jpg IMG_6576.jpgLeave a comment:

One set will remained boxed, but the other figures will be gearing up for the Great MEGO Super-Hero Battle 2.0. Fifty years in the making…
As far as the Iron Man “Out, out, damned spot” on his chest piece: Is it worth the effort to cover it with some yellow contact paper cut to size?

Saw that. You need to put something under the current sticker, something yellow so that the glue does not show thru the current sticker.
Weird that the sticker would be so thin that the glue would show thru.Leave a comment:

Someone on facebook took the sticker off with tweezers and put a yellow sticker on the back of it and stuck the original back on and it looked fine.Leave a comment:
