I am mostly speaking from World War Z facts. Of course their zombies didn't rot per se...the infection leathered the soft tissues quickly.

I don't know about cougar or deer, rabbits but in season 2 when they were looking for Sphia remember Darly and Rick had to check the guts of a walker which had fed recently to be sure and found parts of an animal (beaver maybe I don't recall exactly).
but as I said even if you assume the walkers have killed the animals

It was a groundhog inside that walker's belly. And at the start of the herd episode they were having a dog for breakfast. And Dale was killed by the zombie that was eating a cow.
There are no zombie animals in the books or show.

Sorry, this thread is about discussing the episodes as they are shown here in the States...I don't go by Australian TV, sorry.

Like HumanWolfman said, it's best if you avoid this thread altogether...I will certainly keep talking about it...this is the very point of this thread.
