Is that the one with the radio broadcast as a special feature?

I finally watched the Dan Curtis/Jack Palance Dracula last night. Definitely one of the better interpretations. Palance brought some sympathy to the role, but he still came across as one bad mo-fo. I liked how he acted like a caged animal in some sequences.

Very well done for a TV production!

I recently picked up copies of "The Omega Man" and "Dark City" at Wal-Mart for $9.00 each. I watched "The Omega Man" for the first time in many years yesterday. It's still entertaining, though very 70's

A boring trip to buy my son a jacket turned awesome when I found Rodan/War of the Gargantuas in the clearance bin. Add to it some pizza and the LCD projector from my office and we had a fun Saturday night:

Save the Green Planet was terrifically entertaining. I know nothing about it prior when I had the pleasure of seeing it on the big screen at the Bloor Cinema a few years back. Very pleasantly surprised.

The bees were hilarious. KILLER ending.

Its one of my faves from the SciFi years. And there were more than a few stinkers there.

I saw Wal-Mart also had Jesse Franco's Count Dracula with Christopher Lee? Is this dubbed into English? How is it? Worth $7.50?

Haha - Last night I actually watched "New Moon". A couple of my buddies were hanging out and put on "Twilight" as a joke before I went over. They ended up thinking it was one of the unintentionally funniest movies they had seen in a while, so we ended up watching the second one. Man was that movie was dull. Ugh. They didn't like it either. How creepy is a dude who looks 20 year-old drug addict deciding to go to high school for over a hundred years? Ghaaa! I kinda liked Kristen Stewart in "Adventureland" and was looking forward to "The Runaways", but I hated her in this. Seriously, she gasps emotionally after every third word. If she took out all the awkward pauses and gasps in her dialog I think the movie would have run an hour shorter.

We also watched Frank "Basket Case" Henenlotter's Bad Biology - which is kind of a weird and funny horror/porn. It had it's moments.

    >I don't get the love for Final Sacrafice

Having watched it, I think it's the movie. It's such a.... er.... INDESCRIBABLE film. Is it bad? Yeah, but in ways I've never seen anything be BAD before.... so that counts for something. And I found the wimpy kid riffs pretty funny.

    Plus, the Canada song.

    We've all been there.
