I hit Big Lots this morning and picked up the following for $3.00 each:
    An American Werewolf in London
    The Man With Two Brains
    Superman Returns 2-Disc Special Edition
The Petrified Forest (not sci-fi/horror, but you can't go wrong with Bogart!)

I got my bootleg copy of "Godzilla 1985" a day or so ago, so I watched it this morning. I hadn't seen the movie since shortly after it hit VHS back in the day. Anyone know why this movie hasn't had an official DVD release yet?

Other than Cronos and Feast, which were $6.88, they were all $2.88. Giant Tigers have independent buyers, so most of the time stuff varies from store to store. I passed up Gojira double disk limited edition copy for $9.99 as I already have it as well as King Kong production diaries box set for $9.99, um not sure why I didn't pick that one up though, I outta give my head a shake dammit.

Bought a bunch at Giant Tiger for my Bro-in-Law for X-Mas. Going to go back and pick up some copies for myself, first I gotta see which one's he already has, so I can keep them, which is a great thing about having other monster/horror movie fans in the family. Anyways I picked up Cronos(by director Guillermo Del Toro) 10th anniversary edition, Curse of Frankenstein/Taste the Blood of Dracula double feature, Feast (one of my top 15 fave monster/creature movies and along with Slither, Feed, and The Mist as top current monster/horror films), Curse of the Vampire(Filipino vampire film), The House that Dripped Blood (Christpher Lee/Peter Cushing), 3 Extremes #2 (gory J-horror), Graveyard Alive (the tale of a zombie nurse in love, LOL!) also picked up Challege of the Super Friends 4 episode dvd.

Yeah, it was like they were trying to ripoff both the Terminator and Data

I picked up the double feature DVD of "Godzilla Vs King Ghidorah" (1991) and "Godzilla Vs Mothra: the Battle for Earth" (1992). I watched the Ghidorah movie this morning, and it has both the most confusing time travel plot and the goofiest android character you'd ever care to see. MST3K woulda had a field day with this one

I picked up a WB Sci-Fi Double Feature DVD yesterday that includes "Moon Zero Two" and "When Dinosaurs Ruled the Earth". This was released recently as a Best Buy exclusive. I bought it to replace my tired old homemade VHS tape of "When Dinosaurs Ruled the Earth". It's not the greatest cavemen vs dinosaur movie ever made, but the stop-motion critters are worth the price of admission. I found this copy yesterday at my semi-local Best Buy store. I had tried to order it online a couple of weeks ago, but apparently the scalpers are already selling this thing for $45-75 on eBay and Amazon. I discovered with a little research that some Best Buy stores had pulled their copies of this set after receiving complaints about some nudity in the dinosaur film. It appears that Warner Brothers inadvertently used the European cut of the movie, which has three or four scenes with very brief nudity, instead of the G-rated American cut. Luckily for me, Best Buy is apparently only pulling this set in individual stores that have received complaints, instead of just yanking it company-wide. I was just happy to get the set for $18.01 with tax instead of paying a scalper through the nose

Yes you do. Those Master Series Godzilla disks are fantastic!

I agree. I have all the other ones they've done to date. It was the first time I'd ever seen the original Japanese versions of any of the films they've covered so far. I highly recommend seeking them out to any kaiju fan!

Is that the ones where the aliens want to use the monsters to take over?!?! I haven't seen that one in decades!!!

I still need to get :
    Godzilla 1985
    Godzilla Vs King Ghidorah 1991
    Godzilla Vs Mothra 1992
G85 will have to be another bootleg purchase, but the other two movies are available on a double disc that will be easy to get. I also still need to upgrade my copy of "Terror of Mechagodzilla" to the new deluxe edition from ClassicMedia.
