I hope the fact that there are cleaned up bits of the KTMA shows means that they will be available. They should be smartasses and Lucas-ize them with new effects and crap like that.

Let's not forget "Laserblast" (two and a half stars.) A true classic.
Oh yeah, next to Daddy-o and Santa Claus, it's in the top three for me.

I was really happy to see clean scenes from the KTMA shows but I don't really want to sit through them, I mean again, that is.

    >I bought the latest MST 3K boxset which has the incomprehensible movie "Werewolf".

Me too! Great stuff.... er.... you know what I mean....

    >It's got fun extras too.

I liked the "history of" bits a lot. It was neat seeing the ORIGINAL version of the show. And I liked the bit about the letters after Mike joined. ("New guy blows!")

The only bummer is that the Crow figure isn't Mego scaled.

I picked up "Looney Tunes: Back in Action" yesterday in the Wal-Mart $5.00 bin. It's not exactly a genre film, but it *does* have alot of cool cameos:
    Ron Perlman
    Robert Picardo!
And a slew of familiar monsters and aliens including:
    The Man from Planet X
    Robot Monster
The Metalunan Mutant from "This Island Earth"
    A couple of Daleks
    A Triffid
One of the brain monsters from "Fiend Without a Face"
Kevin McCarthy and a pod from "Invasion of the Body Snatchers"
    and Robby the Robot
There's also a reference to the giant ants from "Them!"

    Just saw 1408.
Not bad, though I could have done with the disaster movie deluge near the end.

A nice, classic King story, without the "everything sucks, I'm totally depressed" attitude he's displayed during most of his work in the last ten years...
