Actually about the Yellow used on Action Figures.
Ever since I saw Captain Actions Superman and Batman suits I have wondered if maybe The yellow in the comics MIGHT suppossed to be Gold.
Comics wee limited in thier coloring till the last 15 years or so.
Maybe Superman and Batman were meant to have gold belts and symbols in the comics. We all know Iron Man was suppossed to be gold .
For years Batman and Spiderman both had blue instead of thier original black. Blue was only suppossed to be teh shading.
Captain Marvel should have the cartoony look. Even Alex Ross managed to capture it.
As for SHAZAM ! :
I feel so sorry for Captain Marvel Jr. Dad got killed by Captain Nazi. He's in a wheelchair, and while hes a Superhero he cant even say his own name!
Hoew in heavens did they get around this in the comics?
( I would like to see the rest of the Marvels made too. Teen bodies Mary and Junior)Comment

it only makes sense that when I see gold, I want to change it to yellow.
(Sounds like some crazy alchemy)"No. No no no no no no. You done got me talkin' politics. I didn't wanna'. Like I said y'all, I'm just happy to be alive. I think I'll scoot over here right by this winda', let this beautiful carriage rock me to sleep, and dream about how lucky I am." - Chris MannixComment

Interesting note...
This card only features the characters from this wave (wave 2 did the same thing). Waves one and three had a "jumper" character pictured in the little circles... Wave 1 had Batman... Wave 3 had Shazam. What does this mean? I have no idea but it stood out to me.Comment

Jimsmegos makes an interesting point about the "jumper" figure. Here is my guess. Mattel was committed to make 4 waves and characters were selected and artwork prepared. If the line didn't sell that would be it.
It sounds like they green light another year (3 to 4 waves?) and I wonder if wave 5 will see the return of a character from wave 6.
On a side note, it really isn't happening at retail but could be a force at Toyfair. When the new figures are introduced, will they be included with prior releases.? I know DC Direct would do that and it was cool to see all the boxed Justice line. What impact might that have on buyers who see 5 waves of multiple colored backing cards and figures? Will it generate more excitement for this line?Comment
