Well here are some pics of wave 4. Some look good, some can look better. I hope these are early protos and will improve in time.

Gotta admit the prototypes look pretty cool, great sculpt on Darkseid and the Martian Manhunter

Wow! Black Adam and Captain Marvel look horrible. I've seen many fan-made head sculpts that look better than these.

I don't care for the head sculpts on Black Adam and Captain Marvel either, even though they are my two most anticipated figures. I'm just hoping they make some changes before the final release.

Captain Marvel looks like Adam Corolla. Sort of crazy too.

I wish Darkseid's head sculpt looked more like Kirby's version... with more of a "squared-off" vibe to it.

Not trying to be super picky, just some initial thoughts.

Overall I think they look pretty cool. I am VERY thankful for this line and the fact that I can buy WGSH Megos at retail again. I will buy them all, no doubt about it.

Martian Manhunter = Outstanding! Very Mego

Shazam = Nice suit

Darkseid = Great head sculpt

Black Adam = Not a fan of the character really but great suit

Wave 4

Is Wave 4 really coming in January? So Wave 3 and Wave 4 are coming so close together, I find it hard to believe.

Captain Marvel's head sculpt is kinda cheezy but his suit is awesome, he will have a mego body and original head to go with the suit. Black Adam is pretty cool. Darkseid is awesome and Martian Manhunter is the best in wave by far to me.

Classic Shazam always had a very dumb look on his face all the time. This figure really captures the golden age look (face wise) I actually really love the way Shazam and Black Adam look. I just would rather have seen Dr. Savina made instead. He was far more used then Black Adam in those days.

Darkseid looks great except for that stuffed arms bit. I don't like he has no open hand to hold a mother box or weapon. Martian Manhunter looks good but I'm throwing out the green suit when I get mine. I don't want my heroes wearing underoos. The fact that he looks very Mego is what I don't like about him. 30 years later it is time to move away from cloth skin. I sure hope he is the last we see like this but I guessing Hawkman will be the same.

Over all I'm happy with these but more excited for wave 3. I think wave 4 needs at least one big gun. With the exception of Shazam the other 3 are not too popular. I would have saved Manhunter for a later wave and put Hawkman in his place.

I think they're being cool by having the figure come with a cloth "skin suit." More "Megoey"! The purists can leave it. The others can remove it. There. Done.

I don't see Wave 3 and 4 coming out at the same time. Here is the pre-order statement on Flash for Wave 3 and it says January 2011...

We just now got them in Ohio. Distribution for these things is awful. A disgrace to the whole Mego vibe if you ask me. Believe me when I say I was less than awed when I walked into TRU-X and saw "two whole peg hooks!" of 'em. And even those weren't full.
