I can tell you that the green skin suit will be completely removeable.
The shorts are not part of the green suit and the harness can also
be separated from the suit.

We prototyped the figure both ways - with a green body and with
the green bodysuit and it looked too cheap with just a pair of shorts,
a harness, boots, and a cape. The green bodysuit makes it look
nicer for kids.

I think they're being cool by having the figure come with a cloth "skin suit." More "Megoey"! The purists can leave it. The others can remove it. There. Done.

I'm glad MM is coming with the body suit--he just wouldn't look right to my eyes without it!

I think the Capt. Marvel headsculpt could be improved immensely just by shortening his neck a bit.

Overall, these look great--keep 'em coming!

Yes, these look great, and as always they will be purchased by me. It's nice to see these figures made. But, as I mentioned before, Darkseid needs more of a Kirby design, more brow. His stuffed body is still sort of silly. But again, I am much more excited to see them, than to not have them on the pegs at all. So keep 'em coming.

These are as final as final "production" figures you're going to get. Love or hate 'em.. they be what they be. And Mattel will NOT redo the heads, bodies or anything.

I'm hoping future waves give us a 3:1 ratio heroes and villains. There are so many heroes that could be done and my fear is that if this line goes belly-up were gonna miss out on some great ones. Black Adam? Guy Gardner? How about Firestorm, Black Lightning, Red Tornado..? I think those would look so great as Megos!

I want more villians so I guess each his own. I think Joker,Penguin,Riddler and Catwoman all need to be done. I'd like to see Brainiac,Bizarro and Solomon Grundy as well. I like the 2 to 2 villian/hero thing they have been doing. I think characters like Red Tornado and Firestorm should be matty.com exclusives. All these two characters will do is warm pegs on the shelf. Go into any store and all you see are DC Universe third and fouth stringers warming the pegs. Characters like these will kill the line if too many of them show up in the same wave.IMO

I think Shazam's outfit and cape are perfect in every way. I do agree though the head looks rather silly. With that face he can't really be taken serious as a hero. He looks like he's backwards and slow. Even little kids will laugh at him and think he's a joke.

To me, Shazam and Black Adam's heads appear to be resin cast, as in prototype stage.
That's how the early pics of Wave 1 looked.
Then the actual product was way better.

Darkseid and Martian Manhunter look like finished product. But who knows?
We shall see. There is still lots of time.

I hope line continues to do well, but man Shazam needs to done over, His head is crazy, which I know I've already stated, but I have a prom with the outfit too. To It looks like is was cut out of some gaudy drapes by a kid for Halloween. The capes looks too short for me too. Just opinion and if you like him cool.

I'm not a Shazam fan and don't know what he did and didn't wear.

Shazam's head is really bad, but the suit looks good. You can just put this suit or or just the cape on an original Mego Shazam and it might look cool.

I love these retro heroes minus the issues with the bodies, but I have to say seeing these pictures for wave 4 is the first time I'm not excited for all of the figures.

I really like Martian Manhunter. He looks very Mego-like to me.
Darkseid looks off to me. The stuffed padded idea doesn't look nearly as good as a hulk body did on the Thing.
Black Adam is ok. I'm not sure I like the head. He would make a great Namor though.
Captain Marvel has a nice uniform, but the head sculpt is terrible. He looks like someone all the villains and heroes would beat the crap out of. Ugh!

Wave 3 on the otherhand can't get here soon enough. I'm going to get them all!
