Which figures should Mattel make?

I'll toss some scenarios into the ring to further the discussion.
If the initial waves are successful, and DC continues with these scale figures.

1. How will the new Batman/Superman movies affect the character decisions? Will there be movie versions of these characters or would DC/Mattel simply re-release the original sculpts to the toy buying masses with movie packaging?

2. The new Green Lantern movie is reportedly going to contain a number of GL Corps members as well as villains. GL has always been a sought after character in the Mego universe and is going to finally happen in 8" scale. Will the love carry on to the rest of the Corps.?

3. Jonah Hex has been announced. Not a widely popular character but would you buy him in mego scale simply because he was mego-like?

4. On that thought, characters like Jonah Hex and The Spirit have had movies yet Shazam has not. Why do you think? Too close to Superman? Shazam has a wide array of good guys and bad guys as well as Black Adam that kinda rides the fence. Could be a very interesting story to tell while the recent Superman films have been OK at best, especially compared to the Batman's recent success.

P.S.Tell me "The Rock" wouldn't be awesome as Black Adam!! That figure would RULE!!

I have longed my entire life for Megos based on the 1966-1969 Batman TV series. I have tried my hand at customizing them; this may be the opportunity to FINALLY get them for real. Obviously, for legal reasons, these cannot be officially from the TV series, but just similar enough to be Mego-ized versions of them.

Here is my DC wishlist (in order of want):

Batman "classic" (RC, of course, and NO OVEN MITTS)
Batman (Adam West outfit)
Batman (all black costume)
Batman (all grey with black batman logo)
The Riddler (Gorshin tights)
The Riddler (Gorshin green business suit with removable bowler)

I hope most characters get an accessory when possible, i.e. Aqauamn gets a trident, Batman gets a batarang, Joker gets a cane, etc. I just think that adds so much to the figure.

Mattel is doing a line of 12" mego-like figures from the Superman films for it's mattycollector.com.

If they sell decent, it wouldn't surprise me if Mattell stretched into Green Lantern or even picked up the DarkKnight or other DC properties they have the rights to.

but that's my point: as of right now, they DO have the rights

to the Characters

they can outfit these characters as they see fit

as long as they do not resemble the actors, there is no rights violation !

think about it:
a generic Catwoman in shiny black outfit
a Batgirl in a shiny purple outfit
a Mego RC Batman dressed like Adam West
etc

Then just take the Challenge of the Super Friends and you'll be good.

My only request is the figures are removable mask, or have a Secret Identities line.

60's hit the nail on the head , all of them is Okie Dokie with me. After all Mattel did some obsure figures in it's JLU line, It's quite possible they could here too !

I'd like to see any characters already made, but with enough variations to make them different. I don't want replicas. And I"ll be thrilled if I get just one new character. I have a pretty extensive custom line of DC characters, but there's still some fairly major characters that I don't have or am not totally satisfied with my custom. Probably, Martian Manhunter and Flash top my list. I've never been in love with my customs of those characters. Any character that I never made would be the best, though.
