I refuse to recognize that guy as one of "my people", I don't want to believe that is true at all, or I may feel the need to re-evaluate my life.
I can't remember if I read it on a thread here or at rebelscum, but Jordan was aware that many people hate the giggling guy, and was hoping to have him edited out of the opening this season, but I guess some sadistic producer overruled him and wanted the guy left in.

[Looking at Paul Allen's business card]
Patrick Bateman: Look at that subtle off-white coloring. The tasteful thickness of it. Oh my God, it even has a watermark!Last edited by Byrnes; May 7, '13, 12:13 PM.Leave a comment:

I'm glad I'm not alone. Again, love the show, but I mention how much I hate that guy every week. And my wife comments on how he makes us look bad...and she collects BARBIES!!!

Every time they show that dude my wife says "there's your people".
I'd really like to open hand slap that dude, just once.Leave a comment:

Slap, cringe...punch. I'm cool with all of those.
This past ep was lil' more story based than I would have liked but you can't deny that MEGO love. Thank you.
Is Hollywood Heroes coming to the Philadelphia Wizard Show in May/June? If you are going to be there I'll stop by (I'm literally 2 blocks away) otherwise I'll skip it.Leave a comment:

Totally agree... My wife always says "THats You" when that guy is jumping around like an idiot.

I only have one complaint about the show: That guy that jumps and down like a nut in the opening credits. He makes us all look bad. I'd like to see him go. That's my only quibble.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. I am so happy to have Jordan, as a spokesperson for collecting toys. His smile and excited looks, animate each episode with the fun level, required for continued success.Leave a comment:

I said, you can't put things in front of people and get an accurate market assessment if they don't actively trade in it all the time. If these fellas buy and trade the items you mentioned all the time then yes, that is their trade. But it doesn't make them an expert on ANY collectible you put in front of them. I've collected Mego's since the 70's. But if I wasn't out there currently buying and/or selling them, I couldn't give you a fair market assessment. And I've seen some wild swings in market value on just about everything out there. So I'm sorry. No ONE person (or group of persons) is an expert on anything "antique". They would have to pull other sources that do it actively to even know what they're talking about. I'm sure Jordan has a much better understanding of what a antique toy would trade or sell for than an antique piece of furniture. But I'm also confident he's not out there advising people on antique furniture either. At the end of the day it's like I always say. When two hands shake, market value can be flushed for all I care. Because no two deals are ever the same. It all comes down to the needs of the person selling versus the buyer willing to purchase.Last edited by MIB41; May 5, '13, 6:39 PM.Leave a comment:
