As usual, I am in full agreement with mvanis. Needs to be one hour!
and like the other Vinny around here, total family viewing. My 7 year old is obsessed and watches constantly... It's on the DVR and he watches it over and over.
"Dad, I saw a Mego!!" he will scream as he sees something in a quick cut.

Even my wife pretends to watch it with me!
I still argue- someone needs to make this a 1 hour show. 30 minutes is just too short.Leave a comment:

Actually, it was at the request of the Network. I believe there was a lot of internal discussions in the legal department about whether or not we could say "Mattel" and essentially... promote the company. I think they were afraid that if we started mentioning Mattel by name, and show Scott... other toys companies might step forward with legal action. In essence, the show would no longer be "unbiased."
It's complicated, sometimes silly... and above my pay grade.
Hope everyone is well.... and as always, thanks for your support.
My daughter spotted some Scooby-Doo item in your both in the Bonaduce episode. I had to stop, rewind and freeze to see what it was. The show has become a weekly family viewing!

I have vague memories of the super hero cards that came with bread - I seem to recall stickers too.
Boy, that was a long time ago ;-)
Funny thing about the show (for me at least) is when I watch and see something like that, I immediately want to run to the Internet and start buying the stuff.
haha - i just spent the last 30 mins trying to find old wonder bread superfriends premiums hahah - I'm so going to get fired LOL!
nothing really showing up. there are some cool old cereal premiums that just sent flash backs through my mind. Man the 70's and 80's were great! I do not get why they do not do all these cool premiums now. come on who did not have a coco pebbles fred and barney pencil topper! or the monster cereals race cars!
I want to go back to that timeLeave a comment:

It's amazing what 80's toys sale for today. If I had a dollar for every time I bought a He-Man figure for my brother's kids back in the 80's. Sheesh! Whats funny is I can remember getting a carded Mego Batman from Children's Palace and trying to convert them to that line instead. Hee hee. Even then I was trying to persuade another generation.Leave a comment:

[QUOTE=Earth 2 Chris;1034593]This week's episode had some stuff that was new to me. I had never heard of the Dingalings.
I've always wondered about that He-Man. Interesting that neither Mattel nor Wonder Bread have any records of the "special offer".
One question: Why wasn't Toyguru identified as a Mattel employee? Was it by request of Mattel? It's the only reason I could figure it not being brought up.
