Nice batch of figures. I see you got (2) Cushing Van Helsing’s, thinking about making customs?
    Thanks !

Yes, the body was changed. This is my first Type S body. can not mistake them with the screws on the back.

I was making customs back in the 90s. Still havent found the boxes they are in. It was my big hobby back then.

I buy batches when they show for sale since get better price if I buy them all. Plus way cheaper compared to ordering online. Im getting all of these fairly cheap.

Yes, most of these are for customs. If the cards , box are damaged , they go for being open and customs. The mint stuff stays boxed.

I am quite happy to fall on stuff here, these were not avaible in stores.

The Dr. Mego boots are thicker, with a slighlty rounded sole stamped "DM". They have softer detailing, and the top edge is slightly rounded at the front point and the opening edge is lipped. They are rigid.

Indian CTVT boots are unstamped and more like vintage boots, but glossy. Chinese FTC boots have a new mold and are slightly flared.

Mego 50th boots have a new mold from DM.

    Thank you !

I dont have very much experience with the FTC stuff . The mits looked off.

The boots would have a mark if Dr Mego , no ?

The 2 Batman seemed weird. The boxed one was loose with no incert and the other was still attached on an insert:. Look

    IMG_8975.jpg

    So decided to switch them.

    IMG_8981.jpg

This made more sense since the one that was attached to the insert is a Mego figure, the other one seems to be a FTC Batman ( has the logo screened on and vinyl cape) and when I looked at the body, its a Type S body. Dont know exactly what Batman it is but I like it.

Is it possible that the mits were switched ?

Wasnt aware about Mindy, I know that I have a Mork with the talking pack in my stuff somewhere but this duo was to nice to pass on. I really like Bruce Lee, when I first saw him, did not know it was a Mego or not.

I didnt have the new Fonzy so that fills a hole.

And these poped up for sale tonight next to me so went and got them. I just cant resist... I love the Jeepers Creeper figure, its perfect !

    Another funny story!

i saw an ad yesterday for this 1968 Breyer horse and thought to myself he would look amazing with some POTA figures:

    IMG_3234.jpg

Once at the sellers place asked if he might have some Mego figures for sale ? ( he had none in his ads but you never know and I was already at his place) he replied that he might have one…

i waited and he returned with this naked Fonzy and I thought to myself , custom material.

then he pulled out this Action Jackson in box
