New Mego Acquisitions? Got any?

A cool pick up this week was this Canadian-carded Dr. Huer from the Mego Buck Rogers in the 25th Century range. The K-Mart price tag appeals to me even more than the Grand Toys logo.
Around March of 1981, Grand closed out all remaining Mego Black Hole, Star Trek and Buck Rogers inventory at K-Mart stores. I vividly recall it as a kid and the end cap was loaded with some incredibly scarce exclusive figures, all for a buck!
I went home with a Humanoid, S.T.A.R and a few other characters I had trouble finding. What a great memory and what a great reminder.

Not really a new acquisition, but more a moment of astonishment. I found this in my storage closet, and completely forgot I had it:

Hello all. It's not often I find vintage Mego in the wild. Found this in the Goodwill bins where they sell by the pound.

Finding Mego bits at a modern Goodwill is rare for me. Sad to say nobody shopping this day probably didn't even know what this was and just passed it by. At first I thought it might be repro but confirmed it here that it was genuine. I thought that the shield had a Mego TM on the inside. This one does not.

That was my first Space Glider. A couple of years later I picked up the blue one because I was trying to match the comic book series. The pink Acroyear wasn't a great substitute for the red one in the comics but that's what I used.Leave a comment:

That Spider-Man is great! I was never into the Micronauts, but that's a nice looking figure. Congrats to you both on some nice pickups!Leave a comment:

Wow, love the Spidey and the Commander Raan figure! I've been actively seeking loose Micronauts but I only ever see Time Travellers.

This guy just glided in on Saturday. Only had the Green version as a kid. Still my favorite Micronaut.

Wow this thread is old enought to drive. I miss Charlie!
Ok so this is not only a pick up but a totally "people rule" post. I won't get into the sordid details, but about a month ago, I had arranged to buy one of these Canadian Hulks and it fell through. I was bummed but got over it; last week, my friend Mario sent me the exact figure listing on the marketplace and nabs it for me for 50 bucks less than I originally agreed to pay. As a bonus, this fragile Mego Hulk arrived intact from Montreal to Toronto and it's got the Grand Sticker on top of a Parkdale Novelty card. So happy to finally finish off my carded Mego WGSH
