For a couple of bucks, bought these 2 sharks. They will go with Aquaman figure... Size was just right and the HammerHead looks really good.

I just did 2 Wallmarts.

The closest I came to a Mego was a little kid cross legged cying out Mee Go, Mee Go...

Frenchy, that’s American Walmarts. I was able to pick up the first waves in TRU , and a few at HMV… owned by the same guy now… it looked like Walmart received a case, (or two?).and split them amongst the stores in the area. I was able to locate most of the waves (14?) but it was not enter the same figure in each store (I have six in Calgary).
nothing since just before the Atlas announcement.

Very cool... The Walmarts around here are *very* hit 'n miss as far as carrying any Megos. We have three Walmarts in the area, and I only seen Mego figures at one of them, and even then, it is/was very sporadic.

Great find! I have a set myself and was really surprised by how much gear each came with.

I didn't know they existed until a few years ago when Hasbro Pulse sent me a marketing email hyping that they were having a sale. I checked it out and decided to buy something. So I then clicked on the 'Outlet' section of their store just in case there might be anything else I might want. And I saw these! And they were indeed $15....

From my personal perspective, the only real 'downside' aspect of this set is that there were never any other GI Joes made in this Mego style. (I would've been thrilled to buy a Destro, to name just one.)

(All of the above suggests that they likely didn't sell well, unfortunately.)

These were made using the first version of the bandless bodies right? The shorter ones?

My Figures from the States finally got here !

Bought them 26 July and received them today. Thats service... lol

Happy that they finally showed up, this fills up a few spots in my 50th line up.
