Didn't Hillbilly Jim have a song that became pretty popular "Don't Go Messing with a Mountain Boy or Country Boy" something like that?

I bet if I looked through my record collection, I have the single sitting around.

I liked the Bushwackers. They were pretty much just comedy relief, but they made things interesting!

If we are going Tag Teams...

                      1. LOD/ Road Warriors
                      2. Heart Foundation
                      3. Demolition
                      4. Hardy Boys
                      5. The Rock & Sock Connection.

Best Luchador: Mil Mascaras - Nothing was better than watching WWWF wrestlers fight to unmask him, finally succeeding, only to find another mask underneath. (Honorable Mention to Rey Mysterio for keeping the tradition alive in the US and being the best small man ever)

Best Microphone Skills: The Rock. No one has ever been able to cut a promo and play to the audience with his skill. (honorable mention to Chris Jericho, who is probably has the best combination of wrestling skills to mike ability as anyone. Another 30 to 40 pounds and 4 inches, and he'd probably be the most famous wrestler in the WWE right now)

Best Technical Wrestler: Dean Malenko. The Man of 1000 holds lived up to his name. Just too small with absolutely no personality to live up to his potential. (honorable mention: Bret Hart, who was probably the best technical wrestler of all the major superstars we've seen)

Best Superstar: Hulk Hogan. Made more out of nothing but a look and a set of biceps than anyone could ever hope for. (honorable mention to The Rock, who could have possibly been bigger in wrestling, but has made a smart decision by leaving at the height of his career for acting, and pulling it off. If he makes some better role choices, he could be as big as Stallone or Schwarzenegger.)

Sexiest Female Wrestler: Gail Kim, she just does it for me (honorable mentions to Gorgeous George and Major Gunns for just looking like they'd be nasty in bed)

Best Oddball Wrestler: George "The Animal" Steele. Hairy Chest. Green Tongue. Eating the Corner Mats to expose the steel. What more could you ask for? (honorable mention: The Moon Dogs, Spot and Rex. I loved those guys)

Best Valet: Miss Elizabeth. RIP. She defined the role, and helped some of the biggest names get over. When your roster includes Macho Man, Hulk, Flair, Dusty Rhodes and even cheesy Lex Luger, you've done right. (honorable mention: Sunny.)

Best Manager: Captain Lou Albano. The best of a very talented era of managers that included Classie Freddie Blassie, Bobby Heenan and Mr. Fuji. (all honorable mentions)

Best Midget Wrestler: Sky Low Low. The Andre the Giant of midgets. Saw him wrestle in person, and he must have been near 50, but was still an amazing athlete. (honorable mention: None.)

Best Announcer: Gordon Solie. He was without equal. JR couldn't shine his shoes.
                        Excellent post!

                          Eso mero, buey!!!

In Mexico and the rest of Latin America...no one will ever beat the legacy of el Santo, he's by far the most beloved luchador of all times...the only one who remotely approaches him in popularity is Blue Demon, and then Mil Mascaras.

This is pretty much written in stone down there...

                          1. el Santo (el Enmascarado de Plata)
                          2. Blue Demon
                          3. Mil Mascaras

You guys never saw el Santo and Blue Demon here in the States because they were before the WWF...plus they were movie stars in Mexico, lol.
