My aunt did the same thing with her daughter. It has more to do with inheritence and PA taxes then the current scandel. The other thing to be known is that Penn State is considered its own Police Municipality inside center county PA. It could be said that reporting any crime or Heresay of a crime to College Officials is akin to reporting it to the Mayor.

Our prayers go out to the victems and that those that are truly guilty are justly punished.

This is true, and I don't think it's understood outside of central PA, and maybe a few other areas with really large campuses/enrollments. This is also one area that I want to see explored further. I have to wonder whether having a police force report up through college administrators is really the most honest and effective way to do it. I'm not saying that it isn't - but I think it's worth reviewing.

It's been reported today Joe has lung cancer. The timing seems a little suspect, but it's apparently treatable. I was on the EPSN board and people were celebrating his illness. Humanity is slowly circling the drain, folks. However much guilt he has in this, nobody should have cancer wished upon them. I feel a little sick.
I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.

If anyone here believes in psychokinesis, please raise my hand.

Lung Cancer is an especially nasty thing...my father died from it. It's really amazing how everyone has turned on JoePa like rabid dogs isn't it?

Not defending the actions of Joe or anyone in this whole situation. Joe made an extremely poor moral decision (at the very least- we still don't know if he was involved in any coverups), but he also did a lot of good, donating money, building a library. He was an icon of sports, and overnight it changed. Is it the fact that a hero has feet of clay that fuels the fire on this, even more than outrage over the crimes?

Franco Harris , Pittsburgh Steeler legend & HOFer is being crucified IN Pittsburgh media for supporting his old coach. It's getting crazy, and the complete story isn't even known yet, if it ever will be.
