            We just call them waffles. Actually, we call them "wafels", pronounced like "wow-fulls".

            They are made from very very light batter, so they're light and crunchy, usually with powdered sugar on top. When I visit the States and somebody offers me "Belgian waffles" they're not at all like what we get here at home.

                                                        The only time I ever heard "easy touch" was in the Pointer Sisters song Slow Hand
