Why is Denmark considered a Nordic country but Finland sometimes isn't ?
Most of Denmark is connected to the main European continent so it really shouldn't be Nordic, right ?
It is a geographic vs. linguistic issue.
Geographically, Norway, Sweden, and Finland are considered part of Scandinavia but the word means the Nordic regions which make up the countries Norway, Sweden, and Denmark.
