Brazil shot themselves in the foot. In the first half they played great football, lots of short accurate passes and stylish back heels, Holland looked second best then they go 1-1 to a fluke goal and lose their heads. The right back makes a silly foul, send off and Holland are right back in it. I fully expect Holland to beat either Uraguay or Ghana to make the final at the very least against either Spain or Argentina.

My prediction....Germany will beat Argentina and Spain for an all European final.

Germany will be the favorites but Holland will win their first World Cup!

You know...this has been the most overlooked soccer power in the tourney so far.

All I hear in the news is Brazil, Germany, Argentina, Spain, etc...but this Dutch team is dangerous as heck...the best team ever not to have won a World Cup (runners up twice)...don't take this team lightly...I wouldn't be surprised one bit if they beat Brazil.

I'd hate to be from Ghana...that's for sure.

Congrats on Uruguay...they showed a lot of poise. The only bad thing though...is that they are going to sorely miss Suarez for the semi...that's a big blow for them.

I hate Argentina...but I think they are going to beat Germany...I think Messi finally come lose and score...and that will be the difference in that game.

I favor Spain over Paraguay. Paraguay does have a great defense...but their offense if almost non-existent...that's why Spain will win.

Netherlands...I have to favor them against Uruguay...simply because the will have the fresher legs...and the Dutch are a very speedy team...and Suarez will be out of action of Uruguay. Having said that, I'll be rooting for Uruguay...I have to back up my Uruguayan friend.

I can't call a final yet...you have to still give respect to the underdogs...I will make a final prediction once the semis are over.

gotta feel for ghana, watched the game and thought they played better overall... i heard some folks chatting saying they thought uruguay played better! must have been watching a different game, its funny how you see things different...

and i mean c'mon... you dont miss a penalty in the last min of extra time to put you through... well he did, and then he steps up to take another, fair doos that took character... but to miss in the 1st place was just terrible

Ghana cheated out of the tournament in my opinion and another rule that needs changing.

To stop a certain goal by cheating should mean the goal is awarded, Ghana win, Uruguay go home.

But no, a penalty is awarded giving the team that cheated a chance to get away with it and thats exactly whay happened.

It's a disgrace.
