His costume and mask are so ugly from that bad era of comics when I stopped buying, so much for collecting 'em all. Stewart yes, Gardner maybe, but one Sinestro is already more than enough.
Kyle is the Mxyzptlk of the Retro Action line so far

I too think it's interesting that they're doing Kyle(not complaining), him not being a 70's Mego era Character. But I guess neither is Sinestro's yellow Costume. I just hope they don't try to make his Head Sculpt look "Megoey"(as Mattel put it)...as Kyle is a modern Character.

Hopefully the "modern" characters will be a minimum in this line....
it'd be nice to see the more classic renditions mount up to really
do justice to one particular era.

As far as the headsculpts style?

They'll look pretty much th e same, all in all.

Maybe the Megoey style Mattel was referring to was sculpting over
old Mego sculpts? I'm pretty sure that's not happening with Rayner.

Over at the Matty Collector forums,they were saying everything got pushed back a month.

I hoping they get released on a separate Day from Heman Figures. I will make it a Hell of a lot easier to get them.

Read in the latest and last issue of Toy Fare that the Matty exclusive GLs will start on sale in March with Sinestro, followed by GUy Gardner in April, John Stewart in May and Kyle Rayner in June.

It also reported GL Classics will have only two waves because of shelf glut with GL movie product and DCUC.

The GL movie masters line will have 12 GL figures each with a collect and connect piece to make Paralax.

You may have to find a customizer for that duty. I'll bet my collection you'll never see a JSA set in this lifetime. I love the JSA.

I'd also dig some GL villains like The Shark, Dr. Polaris, Hector Hammond (love to see the packaging issues with THAT!) etc.

Kyle should be cool, I kind of like the look of his uniform as a different GL look, if you know what I mean. the only one from this line I am not too enthused about is Guy. I could nover stand that character and his redneck crewcut......lol

I like Kyle a little better now that Hal's back. Until that happened, Kyle hung around 10 years and never seemed to get past the "Hi, I'm the new guy" sensibility. It was like in the comics, he was the eternal rookie.

I really hated that about the guy. Should've manned up a long time ago. He's really stepped into the role in his current book.....should've done it five years ago. Maybe if he had, he wouldn't now be synonymous with "Sidelined in favor of the guy you replaced".
