Too Many Lanterns?

Please don't hate me for saying this but in my retro minded thinking Green Lantern is basically just the guy in the green suit. I am not sure variations of a hero in the same line is very retro....well they are still cool tho, but before the boy wonder??

The way Im seeing it is Matty is going to offer the Lanterns as exclusives to cap on the Movie comming out (Which is a great idea) but the regular line will have Robin in it (Hopefully the next regular wave)

Ummm..., it's an action figure.

Now, I'm not a follower of Green Lantern, but I like this one myself.
Anyway, I don't think Mattel's 'breaking the bank' on rolling this one out, thus preventing them from makiing other figures.
Seems to me they're taking a page right from the old Mego 'playbook'.
'sides, this is a Matty exclusive, right?
