This is the one GL exclusive I'm gonna get, it looks just like the Neal Adams comic version. Was hoping for an Alan Scott or Abin Sur instead of another Sinestro

John Stewart has always been a favorite to me. Why? I don't know. I sometimes cheer for the underdog but lately Stewart has gained a lot of popularity and that is because of the cartoon.

I guess it don't matter what he looks like. I was a little teeved off at first but that's the way Mattel wants to do it and that's how it will be sold.
If I buy the figure, I agree it will make a nice Black Lightning costume.

I have had these pix on my Mego site for awhile. I post them here. Which I am sure some of you have seen.

Yes, rehashed Hal Jordan figure with a new head. I am hoping the body is African American. I have a sneaking suspicion it isn't but as one guy said up here earlier at least he won't have ape hands.



For me? When the First Wave came to our Toys 'R Us, I bought every single figure they had on shelves. So I had a few extra Green Lantern bodies.
I later found a perfect African American head that did the trick.
Dye the suit black in some areas and I came up with this for the custom collection

Wow! That Kyle Rayner looks pretty good!!! I made a modern version of him with his "return from the dead look" but I always thought the 90's Glenn Danzig/Kyle Rayner karate green gloves looked pretty good!! I'll take one of those when they come out.
As for the yellow Sinestro, that's pretty cool. I had a feeling that was going to happen. I was about six months from customizing a yellow suit on one of my spare Sinestro figures. Now I'll will wait.

Actually, if I remember correctly Jon had no mask in his first appearance so this is accurate.

Actually it is a proto. You can expect the greens on the factory figure to match, and the vinyl pieces on the clothing probably won't have the grain.

All in all a good-looking figure, although I'm not a fan of the hairline. Kyle's a young guy, and this gives the appearance that it's receding.
