Until last night, the only one of these I had was Green Arrow. I went out and bought Superman and Sinestro. I didn't notice any problems with the ones on the pegs, but will keep an eye on the ones I brought home and take pics if I see any of this happening.

Condensation? Oil? Something inside plastic window of Retro-Heroes
I posted this here a few months back but you can take a Q-tip the type you find at a Doctors office with the long wooden handles and go through the holes in the bottom of the bubble and remove most of the oil.Comment

Condensation? Oil? Something inside plastic window of Retro-Heroes
Hey
You guys are worrying me. My kids and their friends have been playing with these Retro figures for a few days now. With all the stuff going around nowadays;...i hope that there's nothing harmful that's being released via that condensation oil. My second Green Arrow has the Condensation teardrop residue on the box/plastic.Last edited by Ivaniski; Mar 13, '10, 9:48 PM.Comment

its either a reaction with head vinyl to the bubble or its mold release or
preservetive.Comment

This really sucks for those of us who wanted to keep some figures in the package. I was going to try and pick up a set of these for my nephew to play with, but now I'm holding off.Hey! Where's the waiter with the water for my daughter?

The figures touch the inside of the plastic at the top of the head, not the face.* (Do the windows need to be made a little larger? Green Lantern look the most cramped. Which figure is the tallest?)
* I'll need to double check if the face touches the plastic, since I don't have the figures right in front of me.
The plastic on Wave one is about 1/8" shorter than the Green Arrow plastic - he has much more room.Comment

Bummed about this because I planned on putting some of these aside for my kids to get as gifts down the road. With the moisture/or whatever showing up, I need to pull these off the cards now.Comment

All five of mine have this as well. Weird thing is that they DIDN'T seem to have this happening when I got them about three weeks ago. It seems to have developed since then. Lex's nose is quished right up against the bubble and I'm afraid that when I do take him off the card that his nose might be permanently flattened slightly on the tip!MY GODS ARE SMALL...... AND PLASTIC!

I looked at my four Wave 1 figures again. Two figures have the nose touching front of the bubble and two of them don't.
And the vertical lines of oil/chemical do begin higher up then I remembered. For three of the figures, on the top front of the bubble (in the head area), it's harder to see, but there's sort of a inch (or so) high left-to-right smear across the bubble and that turns into the vertical drip line. The fourth figure has more of the sneeze effect.
For now, they're stored stacked in the box I received them. Still deciding how to display them.Comment
