Condensation? Oil? Something inside plastic window of Retro-Heroes

I found a discussion of this in only one other brief thread about the Green Arrows.

    http://megomuseum.com/community/showthread.php?t=36149

I just received a set of 4 Retro-Action Wave 1 figures, and each one has something running down the inside of the plastic.

Anyone else seeing something similar on their packaged figures? Any news or scientific explanations?

I noticed this on Green Arrow--I thought it was plastic/vinyl residue from outgassing.

Also contact Mattel customer service at the 800 number on the back of
the card or go to Mattel Consumer Relations - Products, Parts, Service, Instructions, and FAQs.

If the factory did something wrong or carded the figures before they
were properly dried, Mattel would want to know about it.

Is this a good reason for pulling the figures off the card? I just noticed it on my Green Arrow which was boxed and away in the closet. My kid's GA which was purchased at the same time and is loose has been fine.

I wonder sine there are hole in the bottom of the bubble if you are seeing condensation forming inside the bubble?

Think B.A. Where did you hide the Megos?

It could one of 3 things
                      water condensation
                      fabric presevertive
                      or residue mold release compound
it does not look like chemical leeching from the plastics

                        Thanks for the pics

Thanks for sending the pics - I will forward them to our contact at
Mattel. I did see this on mine, but I thought it was the bubble
itself, not something connected to the figure.

I think AAAAA is right, but instead of making guesses, let me see
                        if Mattel can identify it.

Well, I can guarantee that it's not condensation on the inside of the blister... It isn't water, but a more oily substance.

The figures I opened are fine, as are their empty packaging. It only seems to be happening to the figures still on the cards.
                            ALL HAIL MING!

A slapped together sample of my work:

That's kind of disturbing. I have a green arrow that I never even removed from the mailer box. I'd hate for him to melt away in there.
