Something about Luthor's head looked familiar. Mr. Fantastic with his hair removed.

It's not a re-sculpted Mr Fantastic, however it does look a bit like that.

It was an original sculpt, but perhaps the sculptor was looking at existing Mego heads to use as style reference.

Makes sense he was influenced by certain Megos. Well...he certainly NAILED the look!!

The sculptor got several vintage mego heads to use for reference.
I probably sent Reed in the group because he is one of MEGO's best
later heads.

He promised us that it was a new sculpture, not just altering a
vintage mego head.

Well he did an EXCELLENT job...I LOVE IT! It looks like Luthor...and it looks like an original Mego!
