Technically he wouldn't need to re-open his Mattel account to offer; he could just buy a sizeable allotment from EE or BBTS or whoever and then offer them up on his site.. much like he did with EMCE Khan and many other items over the years..

Well, he could, but it wouldn't be the best business move as he wouldn't be getting wholesale prices, and his profit margin would be less per unit. Having a Mattel account is the only way to really sell these at a competitive price point.

True. And given the usual prices at BBTS and EE, I would hate to see Rick use them as make-shift wholesalers... not counting when he would add HIS markup (profit margin). If that was the case, I'd just go with BBTS (which is what I am planning to do... unless Mattycollector starts offering them later at a better rate).

I'm pretty sure he does get wholesale prices from EE. If not, then close to it. I know in the past he's been able to buy in bulk from EE (usually their exclusives) and then share their price point with no additional mark-up.

Cool. Good luck on that. Though Green Arrow will still probably be off limits, (Mattel is funny that way) it would be nice to see these available in as many places as possible.
