Not to mention, no update on Marvel, almost a year after the announcement? And we may not even get fan favorite Trek characters like Trelane if pre-orders aren't high enough? I'll admit I'm starting to get a little worried.

I’m not going to hold my breath waiting for Marvel, just not worth stressing over, if it happens that would be great.
I’m also getting a bit worried about low pre-orders for Star Trek characters, Trelane would be nice along with maybe a Harry Mudd and how about Nurse Chapel and Edith Keeler for female characters.Comment

Uhura was one of the first figures they made when they returned, and they also already made Wonder Woman, too.Comment

I have the modern Mego Wonder Woman, but I want the 50th anniversary design. I had Wonder Woman, Batgirl and Supergirl back in the 70s. And the Justice League / Super Friends don’t look right without her. (I didn’t have Catwoman as a kid, because the costume seemed wrong to me. I missed that brief Catwoman era.)Comment

Wow, Cyborg looks great! I've said before that I'm not into some of the new heroes because the sculpts look too modern. This one looks very retro - they even gave him Iron Man gloves & boots! This is a definite buy for me; good job, Mego! It looks even better than the FTC version. This one looks like the costume isn't made of the same material FTC used, which chips away over time.Comment

Pardon me if this has been posted elsewhere, but any interesting reveals at Mego Meet? I went last year and had a blast but couldn't make it this year.Comment

Guess not. Well, at least the next wave of WGSH is semi interesting. Wish there were news on Marvel, Star Trek TOS, or any more possible classic monster figures (Universal or Hammer).Comment

It’s like waking up one day in your childhood home in 1975 and everything is just as you remember it…until you walk out the front door, and see a Hyundai parked in the drive way. I happen to love Hyundais, but they don’t belong in 1975, and I happen to love the characters announced for this next wave, but many of them don’t belong in the 50th Anniversary line.
Of course I can simply pass on the ones I don’t want, but then there’s the boxes with the cross promotion of the other figures in the wave. I guess I’ll just buy custom boxes for the ones that I do decide to pick up which is what I did with the last wave.Last edited by Xavion2004; Aug 21, '24, 9:51 PM.Comment
