I was 100%. bought into the concept of the Mego WGSH 50th Anniversary line: Faithful reproductions of the characters that were released, and then the characters that we always wanted but never got. A time machine back to 1973-1976.

It’s like waking up one day in your childhood home in 1975 and everything is just as you remember it…until you walk out the front door, and see a Hyundai parked in the drive way. I happen to love Hyundais, but they don’t belong in 1975, and I happen to love the characters announced for this next wave, but many of them don’t belong in the 50th Anniversary line.

Of course I can simply pass on the ones I don’t want, but then there’s the boxes with the cross promotion of the other figures in the wave. I guess I’ll just buy custom boxes for the ones that I do decide to pick up which is what I did with the last wave.

Guess not. Well, at least the next wave of WGSH is semi interesting. Wish there were news on Marvel, Star Trek TOS, or any more possible classic monster figures (Universal or Hammer).

Pardon me if this has been posted elsewhere, but any interesting reveals at Mego Meet? I went last year and had a blast but couldn't make it this year.

Yeah, very different take on Cyborg and I like it too. I'm generally not a fan of plastic gloves, but they work with armored characters like Iron Man and Cyborg. Really nice addition to that next wave!

Wow, Cyborg looks great! I've said before that I'm not into some of the new heroes because the sculpts look too modern. This one looks very retro - they even gave him Iron Man gloves & boots! This is a definite buy for me; good job, Mego! It looks even better than the FTC version. This one looks like the costume isn't made of the same material FTC used, which chips away over time.

I have the modern Mego Wonder Woman, but I want the 50th anniversary design. I had Wonder Woman, Batgirl and Supergirl back in the 70s. And the Justice League / Super Friends don’t look right without her. (I didn’t have Catwoman as a kid, because the costume seemed wrong to me. I missed that brief Catwoman era.)

it's the 50th anniversary Wonderwoman in the box that we wan't. I have the carded one and the body seems o.k , not sure what the issue is . Etrigan is not a bad figure but would rather have the Atom and the Supergals first.

Uhura was one of the first figures they made when they returned, and they also already made Wonder Woman, too.

If it takes 5 years for female bodies than Invisible woman is way out there for Marvel. Now that I think about it Omac might look cool with the new
    head sculpts.

I’m not going to hold my breath waiting for Marvel, just not worth stressing over, if it happens that would be great.
I’m also getting a bit worried about low pre-orders for Star Trek characters, Trelane would be nice along with maybe a Harry Mudd and how about Nurse Chapel and Edith Keeler for female characters.

Not to mention, no update on Marvel, almost a year after the announcement? And we may not even get fan favorite Trek characters like Trelane if pre-orders aren't high enough? I'll admit I'm starting to get a little worried.

The gals aren't coming until they get the new body made. It might be a long wait. Maybe for the 55th anniversary?

Haha, that would actually be awesome!

The ladies are going to be interesting because I expect they'll recreate the original 4 with their doll-like quality and then produce other females that look more up-to-date and in line with the more recent male figures-- Black Canary, Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, Hawkgirl etc.
