It's good news, but probably too late for the Mattel 6" line, which is the line I really want a Batgirl in. Hopefully I am wrong.Comment

It wasn't the fan boys that jumped the gun...It was Mattel's Scott Toyguru Neitlich who said the line was done after the initial set of figures...he said it in QnA and on a videoComment

Mattel apparently is not done with the '66 line:
http://www.actionfigureinsider.com/m...6-batman-line/"...Classic TV 66 Batman stuff was selling very well for them and they were confused why so many collectors thought the line was ending after Catwoman ships in a few weeks..."
I really WAS scratching my head at the reaction of toy collectors in light of the one Mattel rep's offhanded comment about "no current plans" or whatever was said. He never said the line was being cancelled, but a thousand nerd voices arose in a wail of despair anyways.
Really? I'm curious to see this stuff you speak of. As you see from what I wrote, I too was under the impression that consumers jumped the gun.Last edited by huedell; Oct 11, '13, 4:16 AM."No. No no no no no no. You done got me talkin' politics. Well, while the word "cancelled' was never used, it's never a good idea to say "we have no further plans" about ANYTHING that you plan on continuing. A simple "we have lots of great ideas, come back later" would have sufficed. Not to overly bash Mattel, but they caused the problem here, and then AFI reported it as they said it.
