This is exactly what I was talking about. He toned down the comic book look a bit, but this one is still 100% Hawkeye. He has the style and colors, and a bit of a movie Batman feel.
Now this version I'd buy!

It's a good thing Hawkeye has a bow and arrow, because that's the only thing that connects him to the comic book Avenger. The movie is awesome, but this costume sucks more than the new Munsters.

I'm thinking about getting Batman, since I don't have a Bale version yet. What do you guys think the odds will be we'll get a "Man of Steel" Superman? I kind of like displaying my Reeve and Keaton and my DC Direct "Kingdom Come" Supes and "Justice" Batman together, so I thought Bale and Cavill would go together nicely.

I think your rationale makes sense. I envision a Man of Steel announcement probably around the time the movie comes out. I have a Takara Batman Begins boxed figure, but nothing representing his switch over in Dark Knight. I was hoping they would eventually nail Christian Bales likeness with another go at it. And sure enough they did. Even gave him his mole on the bridge of his nose. Looks about as real as you can get. I thought this movie was so good, I couldn't pass getting this one. Will look nice sitting next to my Keaton Batman.

I just pre-ordered the Dark Knight Rises Hot Toys figure last night. Looks fantastic. Comes out this December. Will be a great Christmas gift unto myself.
