Just got notification that my Hot Toys Rescue Captain America has shipped from Sideshow! Along with Red Skull, who arrived Tuesday, and the Suit-Up Gantry + Mark IV that shipped Wednesday from CSC, it's been a Hot Toys week!

Also, wanted to mention to anyone interested in the Hot Toys IRON MONGER (tentatively expected in October after some delays) - it's listed for sale on disneystore.com for full retail of $480, but if you enter the code "disneypal" you get 25% off, and you can enter code "shiptoday" to get free shipping. With tax, the final price for me was $381, still pretty hefty, but well below what anyone else is selling him for.

Maybe I'm a bit harsh on the costume, because Hawkeye is one of my favorites, but I thought his look was a bit too toned down. Maybe they could have given him some sort of nightvision goggles or something that resembles his comic book look just a bit more.
They made Cap look a lot more "comic book" than Cap First Avenger, so I would have liked a bit more Clint Barton in there.

In the context of the film, his suit was about as "super-heroey" as it could get. To have him don a super hero suit when he actually joined the team would have been pretty far out. I think it works.

Yea I was disappointed with hawkeye myself , but he does look just like in the movie

I don't know I think they made Hawkeye believable. His comic book suit might be a little bit much for the film...look what they did to Batman in the film, except for the ears, cape, and insignia he looks nothing like any comic book I've ever seen, but it is believable that a man could use this armor and fight crime. In Hawkeyes case, I guess standing next to Capt America, Thor, Ironman, and Hulk his suit is a little dissapointing. I still like the Hot Toys figure...spot on with the movie!!!

It's a good thing Hawkeye has a bow and arrow, because that's the only thing that connects him to the comic book Avenger. The movie is awesome, but this costume sucks more than the new Munsters.
