I wonder if they will all have useless, swinging-loose joints like much of Mattel's recent stuff? Most of the DC figures that my wife removes from the package are WAY unacceptable - I wonder why they cant seem to get this one small issue fixed? Hell, my 35 year old Megos have tighter joints - what gives Mattel? I keep telling her that if folks DIDNT buy and BOYCOTTED certain lines, Mattel would FIX stuff, they want to make money after all. But alas, so long as ravenous fans continue to buy essentially BROKEN figures by the CASE, nothing will change! (Shes a member over at this place called 'The Fwoosh'...good lord, I think that some of those fanboys would buy a pile of busted PARTS rattling around inside a brown box so long as it said 'DC Universe Classics' on it! )

Sorry for the rant! Supes looks AWESOME! I hope they didnt drop the ball on his joints!

(Mattel Chinese factory: WANTED - joint tightener. Must understand the basic principles of a ball socket... lol)

The two things on the body that strike me as awkward are the shoulders and boots. His shoulders are so freakin' big, it makes his waist look like it belongs on a Barbiie doll. Too cartoonish in scale. And his boots are too long. Make them black and put heels on them and Paul Stanley could wear those.

and matell strikes another miss. i was really looking foward to this figure and when I saw the Pics on line my jaw dropped, I was like what the **** is this piece of ****, they messed it up.

Any one notice a slight resembalence to tom welling from smallville?

I did not know hot toys was doing a Chris figure, I cant wait for that to come out, they have my business on that figure.

I own 2 of the Mattel GB 12INCH Figures.
The Body on the 12Incher is pretty nice, doesn't flop, and seems to pose pretty well. I assume that the Superman Body is the Same.

From the pics I saw, the head and Boots Bothered me the Most about the figure.

if you look at the review i posted earlier in this thread from another site, its actually not that bad. mattels pictures were terrible and from most of the reviews and sites ive seen its actually a nice figure for the 60.00 price

^I'm figuring that may be the case. Mattel is very hit or miss with their promo pics. My wife collects Barbies, and often the promo pics are very flattering, since the released doll doesn't come up to snuff. But with the DC product, sometimes the photos are very underwhelming. Zod came out much better than anticipated.

I should get mine by tomorrow. Here's hoping he's a bit early!

Trying to post pics, Downloaded them to the Gallery but waiting approval of the pics. How long does that usually take? or is there an easier/faster way of posting pics?

Are the cloth boots removable? I'll probably be swapping out mine when it arrives.

not sure i havent taken them all the way off. However, I took them down to his ankles and they came down that far fine so it would be easy to take them all the way off.
