Mattel's 12" Chris Reeve Superman in December

Superman Homepage - News: November 21, 2010: Christopher Reeve 12 inch Superman Action Figure

    Boo-ya baby!!!

I like it. It's not Hot Toys quality, but then it's not Hot Toys price tag either. I'm in!

I've wanted a Chris Reeve Superman figure pretty much since I first started breathing... which is why I'm going to have to go with the Hot Toys version. I'd rather pay 3 times the Mattel price for a figure that will be many more than 3 times better.

Unfortunately, it looks as much like Christopher Reeve as the 13" Mego version. :(

I'll still buy it, though, as a placeholder for the Hot Toys version.

You summed it up perfectly. It's hard to believe that Chris Reeves head is so hard to sculpt.
If a Mego figure of God did not exist, it would be necessary for EMCE to invent him.

I'll be getting both. $60 is a good price for the Mattel. How much is the Hot Toys version going to retail for?
My store in the MEGO MALL!

This might be one of the best toys that I have ever seen!!

I might buy two just to leave one boxed on my shelf!

I really HOPE that he doesnt have loose, shaky joints -

I need a closer look at his face. Already having the Dc Direct version which means this one really needs to hit one out of the park on the head sculpt to make a difference for me.

Hot Toys is Suppost to Announce Their Reeves Superman very, very soon from What I hear. I'd rather Save my 60 Bucks, Plus 10 ..., and throw down another 100 Bucks for That , Rather than this.

Not Being Rich, and having barely a pot to **** in this Holiday Season ...It's Horrible for 70 bucks.
Looks like a 12 inch 20 Buck Star Wars Figure to me ..., Which at that Price, Hell I mighta Been there. It's Not Even On Par witha DCD 13incher ..., And Isn't Even Worth it at Half the Price of a Hot Toys Figure, ... It's not Even the Same Sport.
