Ah the 70's,great toys, cartoons on a saturday, also wrestling with Big Daddy and Giant Haystacks (easy easy) comics and stickers,Godzilla and the B/W monster and sci-fi films, great TV sci-fi shows.

Going to town on saturday afternoons to buy micronaughts,BSG and star wars figures,at a sort of thrift store.

Climbing trees to fix up a rope swing across a brook, fishing for frogs, newts and the like, then bringing them home to put in the pond.

    What a great decade

From 1970-1979 I was 7 to 16 years old. So you can guess I have pretty fond memories of those years. From playing with Megos and other toys, to playing little league baseball, to riding everywhere on my bike with friends, to family BBQ's with family members no longer here, to my first kiss and countless other things. So yes, I have fond memories of the 70's. I don't think I have a favorite "part". But as a whole it was the best, just because of the ages I was during it. Who's to say I would feel the same way about the 60's or 80's if I had been born 10 years earlier or 10 years later than I was.

My favorite "part" of the seventies was the rock music. I was in high school when Boston & Foreigner came out. But bands like Led Zeppelin, Yes, Stones ruled the schools. Good Times indeed...
