It would be remarkable if two turned up in short order, but I have my doubts. Maybe Jordan or Mark will turn up to shed some light on it.Leave a comment:

It didn't look like the the same one- from the quick glimpse on the show it looked like the one Huckabone got had a little hole in the paper in front. The one that just came up for auction did not- there's pictures of it on the front page still. Maybe I'm wrong about the hole, but who knows!Leave a comment:

Loved the Magnum set, have had a couple of those, very tough piece! Should have bought up all those Turtles I passed on in the early ninetiesLeave a comment:

Show always goes by too quickly! I enjoy it- can't get enough vintage toys, that's for sure.Leave a comment:

Fun episode this week. Lots of neat stuff, and "casting" Mark Huckabone as the likeable rival was a good move! Nice to see that Enterprise gift set! Is that the exact same one posted here just a few weeks back?

When I saw the episode with the SATURN Robot I went "I HAD ONE OF THOSE!" and just smiled. With mine I loved to fire the missles from the head, watch the images flash across the screen on the chest. It was just a fun toy.
Sometimes I'll get so caught up watching these episodes and I'll say out loud "Why is Jordan walking past fill in the blank? It's old, hard to find, and cool! Does he not see it? TURN AROUND! ARRGHH!".
Then I'll remember that there's a lot of footage they record that ends up on the cutting room floor, and he may well have seen fill in the blank, and asked about it, it just didn't end up in the final cut of the episode for whatever reason.
Jordan, I just have to say that I've been liking this season of Toy Hunter even more than the first season. Good job.Leave a comment:

Fun episode. This type of story is more interesting to watch and, as always, I enjoy the background on each of the toys featured. It would be interesting to see an episode about the classic Captain Action line, if that could be done. But this was a good installment. Nice one Jordan!Leave a comment:

I'm really loving the show. Jordan is such a 'cherry picker'. Steve is an all around fun guy.
Back in the early 90s I worked in a second-hand comic and toy store in the middle of Seattle's U-district. We got a call to appraise/offer a 50s and 60s comic collection. Upon arrival, we found a 50 to 60 cent cover price collection.
"Three for a dollar, please?"Leave a comment:

Interesting episode. The dude at the warehouse was everyone's flea market/yard sale/convention nightmare.Leave a comment:
