I would think that maybe Mego would have started looking at the Xmen but i personally would have liked Doc Ock and Electro as a kid to go up against Spider-man.

Kull would have been easy for mego too. Red Sonja....man that would have been cool. Sword and Sorcery was starting to get very big and RE Howard was hitting hard thanks to Frazetta .
