What two Marvel characters would you add to WGSH?

There's no way Mego should have been allowed not to make Dr. Doom. That's one of the biggest no-brainers in toy industry history. Complete and total misfire on a golden opportunity.

My other choice is not nearly as obvious. Strictly from a visual perspective and how colorful the character is, I think Vision would have done well. Put him on a blue backer card and he stands out from everything in that toy aisle. How many times have we been tempted to buy a figure just cause it looks cool, not. because we like or know the character? I think Vision would have been the ultimate Mego impulse buy.

Dr. Doom should've been a no-brainer. Marvel's #1 bad guy, and Mego could've easily recycled the armor from the World's Greatest Knights and some Tin Man parts to save a ton of design costs.

Dr. Strange would've been an easy one for Mego as well. Aside from making the costume, they already had a couple decent heads from one of their other lines that would've worked for Strange.

Using Mego cost cutting formulas, these are the ones I could have seen them actually doing.

Daredevil: Red Batman head, red bodysuit with silkscreened DD, red hands and boots.
Doctor Doom: Iron Man head, knight and Tin Man armor, new tunic w/cape and hood.
Doctor Octopus: Penguin body, with soft goods tentacles like Lizard's tail, new head
Rhino: Hulk and Thing body, screenprinted suit, new head.
Namor: Retooled Spock head, flesh colored suit with screenprinted trunks and ankle wings.

I always wanted to see The Leader as a villain he was seen a lot in comics but I was always frustrated he and no other comic villains were on the TV show.And I would have liked Chameleon for Spider-man. Seems like Chameleon could have been the Masketron equivalent with different masks or heads.

While I like the design potential for Spider Woman and would have loved to see another Marvel female, I'd have to go with Dr Doom and Doc Ock. They're two of my favorite Marvel villains and are rather glaring holes in the toy line.

I would go for Spider-Woman. Dr. Doom seems like such an obvious choice. I don't know why they would not have done him.

Dr.Doom and Namor I wanted both at the time, and it drove me nuts that Mego didn't do them and then when the Famous covers came out they did not do Namor as well seriously WTH!!!!

My choices would have to be Dr. Doom and the Red Skull. Both make so much sense and most the reasons have already been covered. Since it was only 2, I hard time leaving out Daredevil but I think the other 2 just seem like they should have been...
