I don't hate any Mego, but of the WGSH, Tarzan is my least favorite. His very inclusion is dubious, and his pajamas stink. His headsculpt is actually pretty accurate for early Mego, but that suit wrecks it.
Other than being way too tall, Mxy is actually a good representation of the character, or at least the 2nd headsculpt is. But I'd MUCH rather have an official, 8" Lex Luthor or Brainiac. Or Bizarro. Or the Parasite. Or even Terra Man. Well, maybe not him.
I agree - you are crazy about Superman - he is a great mego.
Mxyzptlk and Gorn. Both have innacuracies - Myx's are unforgiveable and he sheer existence in the absence of Lex bothers me. The gorn was complete cheapness - not only is he inanacurate - he doesn't even have any new parts.
There are certainly others that are bad (like Tim mentioned: 12 inch Cap) but I don't have those in my collection
>micronauts seem more like toy's that you would find in those asian discount stores
Et you!?!?!? Grrrr!
>Micronauts is my least favorite of all.
ANOTHER one?!?!?! Holee Smokes! Micronauts are my all time favourite toy. But I think part of the problem is that when folks hear "Mego" they think 8" fig. Look at the responses here.
But Micronauts? *sheesh* Haven't you guys heard of "Puppet Love?"
As for 8" figs; I gotta go with the Gorn. Looks NOTHING like the character from the show. Some of the other figs could use a fix or two; but the Gorn is pretty off.
Superman is pretty close for me, too. I don't think the Mego figure is really bad; but I think he could have been macho'd up a bit.
>The Mummy is simply my most hated of all Mego's,
OUCH! Again with hackin' on my faves! I loved this guy when I was a kid. Of course, I loved any monsters, and the Mummy has always been my favourite of the classics. The Mego one looks really "superhero" to me, sorta like the Marvel "Living Mummy" comic.
Drac is a LOT sillier anyhoo; although I would have loved him just as much had I found one when I was a kid. (I sorta got my Mummy by lucky accident and only found the other three about 8 years ago.)
Nothing really offends me but I have little to no love for celebrity dolls, Dukes of Hazzard or CHiPs.
The last two go back being 11 and standing in a S.S. Kresge and Co looking at the Dukes and Chips figures and thinking fondly of Apes, Superheroes and Star Trek. Mego was no longer producing toys I liked and it sucked.

I'm not much of a Teen Titans fan. Sure, the sculpts were good, as were the costumes and accessories, especially on Speedy, but... the scale just kills them. They don't look like teens next to the 8" Megos, they look like malformed children!
Why oh why couldn't they have just done the Titans in the 8" format? I mean, Robin was the leader of the Teen Titans at the time, but Robin looked insane next to his team mates. What's up with that? At the very least they should have made a Teen Titans sized Robin, but I would have much preferred 8" Titans.
I've heard a variety of reactions to the Mego Superman from outsiders, but I've never heard a Mego head bash him, that's a first. To me, that face has been like a friend to me since I was three.
For sheer skin crawling reaction I'd go with Daisy Duke. Huge head, too much hair, lame body, bad outfit, horrible shoes.
The Mego that really bothers me is Catwoman. She looks nothing like any Catwoman that I remember as a kid. I grew up watching reruns of the 1966 Batman series, so the poof-haired, red-masked Mego Catwoman was a complete disappointment when I saw it. I'll probably still buy one, though, because it's the last figure I need for my Batman line.
