I knew poor Mxy would take a lot of heat. Catwoman is my least favorite of all my Megos, but I don't hate the figure. Cap is definitely the worst rendition of any of the heroes, but I still like him just the same.

I have to agree to the max! I have had offers from people for really cheap painted cowl batman's and I refuse every time simply because the only batman I want in my collection
is the RC batman, he is far superior because the RC is just the extra bit of realism that makes him so mego like.
Regardless of my strong view on the RC batman, painted batman is not on my hated list, he is still cool, he just get's dragged through the mud big time by the RC batman.Ithe Monster Hero

As a kid i had the R/C BATMAN, i would have him in the batcave with his cowl off just like in the comics, my friend Steve had the painted cowl version i hated the head big time, i think if MEGO would have done a better job on the head like giving him longer ears i might have forgiven Mego for doing away with the R/C, i'm seriously thinking of redoing my fist fighter Batman with an repo R/C since he is far from mint condition and i'm using repo parts to finish the outfit anywayComment

I always loved Gorn and he stands proudly in my new display case, I hope to get a carded version soon.
I always hated the fact that the Hulk was so small. In fact his hands just seemed silly with his thumb on the top of his fist, and no clothes would fit him, he became abit stumpy in my house (twice) because of broken pins. At least The Thing had a body suit to keep his legs together(ish) but even he looked as if someone had taken a knife to an orange.
Conan and Thor just look to sissy with all that hair, as a child they looked like DOLLS in PAIN. My absolute fav was/is Spiderman but even as a child the fact that you couldn't take off his mask drove me mad, that I even cut two slits up the side of an Action Man head so that I could place it over spideys and dressed him in rolled up Action Man Clothes. Spidey went everywhere with me. I even took him (secretly in a bag) to a job interview about 10 years ago"I've just bought a house. It's got a Buck Rogers Toilet. One yank, all gone!"Comment

yeah, I think it was a Mego thing actually, Myx doesn't really look fat or chubby in the cartoon's/comics, he wasn't pencil thin either, but I would not have given him a fat body at all, they should have just made him small like the WOZ munchkins.Ithe Monster Hero

I have to agree with Joe about the Teen Titans. They're my favorite team in all comics, and Mego's sculpts were pretty good on the guys. Too bad Wondergirl's was so generic. If for nothing other than to make them in scale with Robin, it would have been nice if Mego had made them 8" tall. Plus, an in-scale Wondergirl would have made a great addition to the Supergals. I think her outfit and accessories worked pretty well, but I also wish Mego had given her bracelets, or followed Wonder Woman's example and used flesh-toned sleeves with colored cuffs. And no matter what size they made the Robin figure, I really would have liked him to have his classic hairstyle.
I also just can't find any love for Action Jackson. I don't like the face sculpt and to me, they don't look very "rugged." I prefer the modified Bruce Wayne sculpt that was used in an advertisement which was once posted here.Comment

I can't say I outright hate the look of anyone in particular. I'm gonna defend the Mummy, I think he looks pretty good (maybe I'm sentimental because I had one as a kid). However I was very disappointed by Dracula. The rest of the Mad Monsters look great IMO, but Drac looks downright goofy. I know that Mego couldn't step on any Universal or Legosi estate toes, but they could have done a bit better. The Drac painting on the box looks great however.Comment

Love your Megos, just don't LOVE your Megos...
I just hope you outgrew it.
Or at least got a life-sized blow-up.
Heh.

Worst Look? The Fat Body.
Pretty much any figure with the fat body turns me off. I'm not sure why. Maybe it's because they can't sit down right. Maybe it's because the costumes/outfits never fit the body scheme correctly. Plus, what kid really wants to play with a "fat" action figure? Don't get me wrong, I appreciate Mego's effort in creating a new body style for the figures, I just wish they could have done something much cooler.Comment
