The first mego figure I remember getting was an Action Jackson with the Signal Spy outfit. I saw these for the first time on a return trip from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. Many more AJ figures and accessories followed quickly. The next figure I got from a different line was Aquaman. I found him in the coffin box at the local Toy King. He was the one and only figure they had. I drooled over the other figures on the box and fantasized about all the other superheroes they could make for this line until finally other stores started to carry them and Toy King restocked!

I got a black Action Jackson when I was 5. As soon as I saw that first commercial, I knew I had to have it. It was my first action figure."Do you believe, you believe in magic?
'Cos I believe, I believe that I do,
Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic
If your mission is magic your love will shine true."Comment

I don't remember not having a mego figure, my earliest memory is Batman but AJ was also around. I was born in '70 so I don't have many memories before '73.Places to find PlaidStallions online: https://linktr.ee/Plaidstallions

I think I got 3 of them all at the same time...Batman, Robin, and Superman.
Still have all 3 of them to this day although they are in really bad shape from the amount of abuse they took but even looking at them all battered up bring back priceless memories."The farther we go, the more the ultimate explanation recedes from us, and all we have left is faith."
