What was the first Mego figure you had?

It was a WGSH Robin with removable mask. My older brother was given a Batman, with removable cowl.

Unfortunately they are long gone.

Christmas 1977 me and my brother woke up to find that Santa had left Lego, Evel Knevel, and Action Man all set up in the sitting room along with Spiderman, fist fighting Batman and Robin. I think this was our first step into all things Mego.

October 11th, 1973 (so almost 34 years ago) I picked out a Boxed Mego Superman as a 6th Birthday present. I remember seeing him and thinking "I got have this!!!" That got it started for me. Not only did it start Megos but comics, GI Joes, AHI monsters, Aurora models (Superhero and Monsters) etc,etc,etc.

Hey, we're close! My birthday is Oct. 7 and I just turned 41.
I got my first mego (Spidey) around the same time.

It was Batman!

I remember cutting the edges of the box to make it like a swinging door. That was the closet where he would put his cool stuff.

Next came Robin and then it was Dracula as a villian... it seemed to make sense to me back then.

I got him in 74 or 75 - he is in the exact condition he was in when he went into storage in 83 or 84. When I got back into megos in 95 or 96 I decided I would leave him alone and not repair him since this is the way I remember him and love him. Definitely the most valuable Mego in my collection (though cash value is under $20)

He has original boots and gloves, hand made replacements for his belt, emblem and cape. Worn out head and suit, broken elbow, two broken knees (taped)

I have another minty batman i pieced together over the last few years also on display.

Solid Box Superman! was my first and funny enough Superman carded was my last mego as a teen.......

Mine was either the 8" Mego Hulk or Spidey, Can't remember which one was first.
